Love and Sunshine to all!!!  It's rather 'cloudy' here, due to the sickness going around over here.  I think mine is trying to go into pneumonia.  Probably go to the doc today!!  If I can get the strength to!!!  I feel terrible!!  Toot missed two days of school from being sick.  George had it last week and into the weekend.  So nice of him to share!!!  Now, I know what Joe and Becky went through.  Did you guys share, too?????  heehee

I am going to make this short and sweet!!  Got to go wake Toot up to see how she feels today.  Hope all are well with you and yours.  Love you!!!

I can't help but wonder.... I can't help but cry...  Will my fears be put to rest, or is it truly the worst thing for our country?   It's not a 'race thing', or even a "Democrat or Republican' thing.  It is a moral thing and a Biblical thing.  We live in America, right?  Land of the free, home of the brave.  How can we elect someone so un-American?  He won't salute the flag, he won't support our military.  In fact, he wants to dissolve it, and let the UN take over.  What's wrong with this picture?

You know, the whole wrold is rejoicing because of our new president.  Isn't that the same people who wanted to blow us off the face of the map not too many even days ago???? 

Another country cannot send planes or ships to bomb us.  We have too much technology for that.  They would be stopped in their tracks, and they  know it.  So, what do they do???  They come into this country, because we are a peaceful and loving and christian country.  We welcome everybody.  We educate them, we give them jobs.  We even elect them into offices.  Yes, we are so trusting.  So willing to help them better themselves.  We welcome their families, their friends.  They have the same rights as us.  Then what?

This great country can't be destroyed from the outside.  Only from within.    Remember September 11, 2001?  My fear is, we ain't seen nothing yet..... 

I woke up feeling more relaxed than I did Wednesday morning.  When I watched the news about how the rest of the world was rejoicing about the new president, I cried.  Literally.  Wasn't it not long ago they wanted to blow us off the face of the Earth, and now, they're happy??  That sends  'mega-message' to me.  But, I had to take a deep breath and step back and remember that this is bigger than you and me, and we all know, or should know, who is in control.  I pray for this country and I pray for you!  Love to all.....

OK........we survived Halloween!!!!  We went to the church function in Holden.  They had space walks, tug-of-war, sack races, hot dog and marshmellow roasts and hot coffee!!!  It was cold, but the kids didn't seem to notice!  Everyone was so nice and Toot had a very enjoyable time!  They  also had candy and glow stick necklaceses. 

Yesterday, we took her to the State Fair for the second time.  We stayed like last  Saturday, for about 9 hours.  She didn't want to leave, but around 10:30 last night,  it was too cold for her to ride anymore.  She refused to wear her coat, or jacket cause it was rather warm when we left home, and I really thought it was in the car, but I was wrong!!!  Unknown to me, she took it out to prove her point........oh well.......

Anyway, she had fun.  Her cousin was there, so she had someone to ride with.  But, she is so friendly, that is never an issue!  She makes friends everywhere.  Worries me alot, too!!!

Here's hoping everyone has a safe and blessed day today.  Traditionally, this is a 'ghost and goblin'  day..  'It's all in fun, and it doesn't mean anything'.  Well, I beg to differ, but, just the same, I wish all blessings and many wonderful times, no matter how one chooses to celebrate.  Even churches that have a 'non-halloween celebration' are having a halloween celebration.  The Bible says 'do not mistake evil for good', ok......but, George wants to take Toot to a church celebration tonight, so that we will.  I for one, will be praying the whole time. 

I know there are many views on this subject, and we all have our own opinions on things.  I am not here to tell you that you are wrong in your belief.  We all must find our own way. We all have to do what we believe is right in our own heart.  In the end, all that matters is what happens when we stand before Jesus on Judgement Day.  That, is a subject matter in itself.  Me, I choose to believe.

Today, at 4:30 am when I got up, the temp. was 36 degrees!!!  I feel like that ole dog we use to have named Frisky!  He was so full of energy, he ran, played, jumped had a ball!!!  I know how he felt!!!  I am so glad winter is on the way!!!  Even having to bring plants in and out all the time!  I love it!!  Have an awesome day!!!

Hope all is well in your little corner of the world.  All is great here!  I had the chance to go to work again on the Hurricane Clean-Up here in Baton Rouge! I knew we got hit hard, but didn't realize the magnitude of it till I got out there. The job didn't last very long however.  It is still going on, but I went in under a subcontractor instead of the main one, so we were let go.  I am thankful for the time I was able to work though!!!!

Got to run to get Toot up for school!  She is in the first grade!!  See ya!!  Blessings to all!!! 

Such a small word, but, OH!!! the power behind it!!!  As i journey on through the days and weeks of this ole life, aside from the gifts The Lord has given me, I so appreciate those who've helped me through the rough times.  I know that you, too, are a gift from God because I get tremendous blessings from the words of comfort and the radiating love I feel from these entries you leave for me.  I just want to say Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart.  You really are very special to me!!!   Some friends I have made here have gone on to other things and I have lost touch.  I pray that everything is good in your lives, and hope to one day hear from you.  I think of you often and love you, always!  I love you, too!!  Thanks for being there for me!!!

Ever wonder what life is?  I do.  I guess cause mine flashed before my eyes, and I didn't like some things I saw.  I wish I had knew The Lord alot sooner.  Maybe the hardships wouldn't have been so hard.  I know the other stuff wouldn't ever have happened, so lot's of issues would have taken care of themselves.  But, we can't turn back time, nor can we change it.  I just remember that we serve a forgiving God, and a Loving God.  He sent His Son to die for me.  When I think about all of the things I have done, or should have done, or could have done, I just remember that is why Jesus outstretched His arms, and died for me, so that I could be forgiven.  All I have to do is repent, believe and put Him first.  And, I have.  Nothing is bigger than God, and together, we can get through anything.  You and He, can, too!!!

As always, been awhile. 

This morning, I sit here with my husband on my mind.   He has got to be the kindest and most gentle man around.  I have never met anyone like him.  I love everything about him.  His smile, his gentleness, his kindness, his eyes, his voice, everything. I am so blessed to have him as my husband.  He has put up with things from my side of the family that I am not sure I could have done if the situation were reversed.  I would have tried for his sake, but, I just don't know.  I would like to think I would have, but, I really do have my doubts.  I don't see how I made it through anyway!!!   God and His presence, that's what I attribute it to.  God gave "Poppa" to me.  That's what the kids call him.  I hold him in the highest regard, though he has his doubts about that sometimes. 

If you should ever read this, Baby, know I love you and I always will.  I appreciate you and love you so much!!  My heart belongs to you.
